Any "loud" topwater lure would be your best bet for Peacocks.
Snakeheads like Spinnerbait’s and Chatterbait’s-
1. Spinnerbait- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_77987____SearchResults
2. Chatterbait- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_83936____SearchResults
Make sure to use medium heavy to heavy action tackle and an outfit with a decent reel with a good drag. Both species of fish (Peacocks & Snakehead) can get quite big………

I lived in Florida and we had a small population of peacock bass and we used Heddon Zara Spook top water lures as well as big spinnerbaits and they would crush those. As far as live bait goes I have no idea what a peacock would hit. Snakeheads are an invasive species here in the States so I’m not sure what they would bite. Good Luck!!

I fished for peacock bass for 2 weeks in South America. They seemed to love top water baits that reflect a lot of light.
Also baits that run just a few inches below the water.
They don’t bite on plastic worms.
