i want to go fishing tomorrow in my neighborhod canal for some peacock bass. I go all the time but i want to know around what time odf the day is the best time of day to fish for them. any other tips would help alot . Thanks !
Pretty much all day. Mornings and evenings would probably be your best times to go, but afternoons are good too. If you watch peacock bass videos on youtube, you’ll see guys catching them in the middle of the day. As for tips? Use heavy tackle and heavy-duty lures, a big peacock bass will tear apart and knock the piss out of standard lures.
And peacock bass are nothing like largemouths. They are a whole ‘nother species. Peacocks are a cichlid, largemouths are a sunfish…

Any time of day will do; however, at Lake Wilson, Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii, morning seems most productive.
