What is the best type of fishing bait if im trying to catch peacock bass?

i like to use big poppers but any large topwater will work

    i would try fly fishing or maybe a night crawler on a worm harness or something like that just like fishing for large-mouth as with any fish hit them with the whole arsenal in you box till you find the right color/lure combo.
