January 8, 2011 - 8:22 am 2 Comments

My birthday is on 26 may , so i have decided 2 celebrate it on a saturday (30 may) ..
Im kinda blur ,
I have no idea what can i put on the menu ??
and im having my b’day at home , my hse is nt very big either .. i tot of putting a table on my porch , and having 35 guest sit around it , or in my dining ..
what activities should i have , what kinda invitations ?? Theme ?? Food ?? Deco’s ?? Activities ??

-i want it 2 be simple , bt cool/fun
-cant afford to spend alot of money (eco crisis)
- must manage a small space
-

This is an inexpensive way to do something cool & unique (and inexpensive)& not just spend all the time sitting around at your house
After you have the scavengar hunt-go back to your house have food & drink and sit around the table on your porch and decide on who won the scavenger hunt.

Shopping Mall Scavanger Hunt

It is a new twist on the average scavenger hunt. The idea is to split guests up into pairs or teams and have them take photos of the items desired for the hunt.

Directions:
You need to locate the following items throughout the mall and take a corresponding picture of it for proof that you located it.

You are awarded points based on the items found on your list.

You will earn 20 points for every photo that matches the item found on the list. Some items on the list will offer “bonus points”.

Starting the game:
Make sure each team has at least one cell phone with picture taking abilities. Give the scavenger hunt a timer. Usually 1 1/2 hours is enough time but you can decide on a longer time frame if you wish.

Scavenger Hunt List:

Find the most expensive handbag you can find. Be sure to include a picture of price tags for proof as well as a photo of the handbag itself. Bonus: 20 points for the most expensive handbag winner out of all teams.
Find the ugliest pair of shoes.
Find lime green colored eyeshadow. Bonus: 10 points if you can swatch the color on the back of your hand 9take a photo). 20 points bonus if you can have it applied to your eyes by a sales person. (Take a photo of the sales person applying it onto a member of the team.)
Find a pair of “granny panties”
Find a Hawaiian print shirt
Find chocolate Bonus: 20 point bonus if you can find a chocolate covered pretzel.
Find a pair of yellow shoes.
Find a red bathing suit.
Find the most expensive item “Black and Decker” makes. Bonus: 20 points for the team with the most expensive item.
Find a female sales person working in an electronics store/department and have your photo taken with her. Bonus: 20 points if you can get the entire team in the photo with her.
Find a mannequin wearing a suit
Find a Christmas Ornament
Find the most expensive bedset. Bonus: 20 points for the team with the most expensive one.

I’m designing my new home help?

Good morning!
i’m moving into a nice new apartment and I have two baby girls coming ahead.
I want something eco- friendly like this Bybo Design changing table:
http://decorbox.bg/blog/en/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/ergonomic-baby-changing-tables-by-bybo-011.jpg

For the babies room they’ll share, I want some pastel colors, peach, light pink, cream…
I want a room with a baroque-gone-modern type style and I want that in the living room and a baroque bathtub like this in the bathroom:
http://www.dekio.fr/var/deco/storage/custom/blogs/1/2/28.jpg

For the kitchen, I want colors like taupe and light blue with a hint of white and cream.
For the living room I would like a prune purple with green and a long modern-baroque table with see through chairs (I saw some somewhere)

Can you help me out with ideas, pics, websites…?

Thanks a bunch everyone!
I also love the Parisian apartment style with tall ceilings, mouldings….

Can you paint the apartment, or even change out the tub for that matter, probably not. Stick with window and floor treatments for the color.
