Which travel books is better: Fodors, Moon or National Geographic Traveler?

January 17, 2010 - 8:39 am

I am going to travel to one Central American country, need a book with local hotels, restaurants, roads and other points of interest listings.

Amazon has these four: Lonely Planer, Fodors, Moon and National Geographic Traveler. All about $13-$17.

Which one is better?

Lonely Planet!!! By far the best travel books. I have tried them all and I have been to different locations in the far east, europe and south america, US and Hawaii also.

You can also take these books out the the library or buy slightly used copies on Amazon. I have done that too.

Lonely Planet is very helpful and also I just went to Las Vegas and my mom and I got a Las Vegas For Dummies book which is actually very helpful! The dummies book though may not have the place you are going t though …But still go to your local Branes& Noble or bookstore and see if they have dummies travel …If not LONELY PLANET !!

(National Geographic Traveler Is Not To Bad Either …)
