Do you think tribes living in the middle of the Amazon are happier than people in our society?

It seems that when they show tribes living in the middle of nowhere on the Travel Channel, the people seem to have a more "true" happiness than the average person living in a city and working.

Yes, from studies I have seen in the past the more advanced our society becomes the more depressed we get, the less we start to focus on the important things such as relationships and family and more of the little things like work, money, television shows, having fancy things-nice cars, name brand clothes, ETC, causing us to focus more on work and losing sight with our peer relationships. They also have to work for everything they do and get, physical labor and activity releases endorphins, because they don’t focus on the american dream they have more time for people, loved ones, friends, and peer relationships. Nor do they have tv shows, commercials, and billboards to try to sell them products to make them beautiful so they never take the time to think about how ugly or fat or whatever they are, thus ensuring they have higher self esteem, and less depression/

    I do think so.
our way of living is depressive and society is sick,
    the malice
    the killings
    the crimes
    the suicides
    the economic pressure
    so many other things…

so these people who live outside this oppressive life are happier because they dont have to deal with non of the above.
