Thanks all
Wow Kyle, I didn’t know that. So nice of you to share that KERNEL of information =P
what would you think of this recipe and adding a link sausage into the center of the "stick" and covering with the batter?

I have the same ones that were my g’mothers, and then my mom snagged them back and hung them on her kitchen wall. Well, that’s nonsense, as I USE them…….

The sausage trick is a GREAT idea, just cook the sausage first. And you might want to "measure" the sausage, if you’re talking sausage links, I’ll bet you can fit two in them…..pour some batter in, then the sausages, top with more batter and then to go "over the top", sprinkle with some grated Pepper Jack cheese. AND SEND ME 2 OF THEM WHEN THE COME OUT OF THE OVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;))

You can use it for a jello mold. Or maybe even cupcakes. But you’ll have to adjust the cook time.

Try baking the sticks with regular cake mix. Melt chocolate and have sprinkles, crushed cookies, M & M’s etc in small bowls. Let the kids create their own cake dip sticks. They love it and it really is not messy. Adults love them also.

Great for a Halloween Party treat.

I make corn dogs in mine. I even cover it with plastic and let the kids use it as a play-dough mold.
