Where should we go on holiday in april 2010?
We can have up to 3 weeks off work but only in april and want to do a trip of a life time. We aren’t into the normal places like Spain, Mexico etc, we like off the beaten track type of holidays. We don’t mind cruises or multi centre. Our interests are wildlife & photography. Some of the places we have been already are:
Kenya
South Africa
Brazil
Borneo & Kuala Lumpur
Canada & Alaska
We don’t mind travelling as long as the flights aren’t really early. We want the holiday to be as relaxed as possible but we want lots to do. We were thinking about Peru, Amazon & Galapagos but i think that is turning out abit too expensive and the flights are a bit annoying as there is stop offs.
We don’t want to do Australia. don’t worry about budget.

Given your interests, I would second the suggestion for Costa Rica. Visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest there and with all the time you have, combine it with Belize (see the jaguars if you’re lucky) and maybe some of Panama.
Personally, I like the Netherlands at the end of April. There isn’t a lot of wildlife, but you can find some interesting waterbirds around. There are lots of photo opportunities though; I get a couple of thousand photos every year. The tulips are usually at their peak then.

Costa Rica is amazing in the spring.

Umm I have been to Kuala Lumpur which is great and if you liked kl then you should like Bangkok,Singapore,Philippines.. Alot of adventure there and the shopping is quite reasonable and everythings convenient over there! Oh and the people are VERYYYYYY KIND.
You might like to go to Dubai, i go there every year and its the best! You will love me if you go there lol.. The very best shopping, fine dining, the biggest mall in the world (Dubai Mall), The tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa), considered as a wonder of the World (Burj-al-Arab) and there is sooo much to do! You have resorts there and beaches and deserts and safari and almost everything! You have ice parks ( Ski Dubai) in mall of emirates. I personally heart Dubai! Its relatively cheap compared to all the other countries too.
You could come here to the subcontinent! Only if you are into rich culture, traditions, spices and all!
Im from Pakistan but I know NOONE would want to come here due to the bad condition of our country but you could go to India. India is very well developed!! You can see the red fort, Taj mahal, one of the wonders of the World. If you can do try to come here to Pakistan too cuz you might find it dangerous but its ALOTTTT of fun! We have bazaars, food streets which is very popular, and sooo much to see! This is just if you aree into photography Pakistan is the place for you! Lahore, Karachi are the best! Our little small cities have so much architecture too. We have architecture coming from the 16th-17th century from the times of the Mughals which cant be found anywhere else.
You could do Scotland as well! I hope this helped youuu! takecare

You should visit Machupicchu is a great archeological place in cusco -peru besides there are many others archeological areas .
