This is my wedding dress:
http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns…

Me and my fiance are marrying in a ski lodge in May(I know it's ironic, but we both LOVE the place). It's air conditioned and I'm worried it could be a bit cold, so I told guests to bring shawls or something to keep them warm.

However, I hate shawls. I was wondering if anyone could find me a nice, simple white silky jacket, but it's not a full jacket. It drops down just under my chest and will look good with the dress. And please no eBay or Amazon, I don't like those two places for my wedding.

Thanks in advance!
Sorry about the link. I'll try to get it booted it up…..

What clothes should I take on Amazon river cruise in December?

June 28, 2009 - 5:34 am 4 Comments

Going on organized tour with trip extension to Machu Piccu.

Resort wear…light clothes plus a sweater or light jacket for evenings and lots of "Jungle Off". However, if you`re going to Manchu Picchu, it gets cool up in the mountains, ask your tour guide before leaving.

It says on amazon thats the drum kit you get with guitar hero world tour comes with batterys. ?

what color shoes should i wear with a ECRU colored dress?

June 28, 2009 - 5:34 am 4 Comments

this is a mesh embroidered dress, with beads. go to
amazon.com, then type in mesh embroidered dress to see. i am going on a cruise and this is one one the dresses i am taking. i am thinking gold, but not sure. can you help

There are ecru shoes that have a faille fabric on them that would match perfectly. Silver shoes would probably go better with ecru, than gold, but gold still would be all right.
I checked the site and the dress is very beautiful. Shoes could either be straps or closed toe, probably open strap shoes would go better.
You might consider ecru leather shoes which would also serve you better in the future, for regular street wear (instead of formal wear). No matter what, enjoy your cruise. Break in the shoes before going dancing so your feet wont hurt during your cruise.

Iquitos Tours - Nanay River in Iquitos

June 27, 2009 - 8:24 pm No Comments

http://www.fertur-travel.com/iquitos_tours.html

The Nanay River joins the Amazon on its left bank…
…between the Tigre and Napo Rivers.

The Nanay is one of three rivers that surround the jungle city of Iquitos, turning it into an island.
When the river drops, several beaches form on the banks of the Nanay. Theyre very popular destinations for visitors from Iquitos.

The rivers lowland environment creates a tortuous, meandering waterway
its slow course breaks up into thousands of small channels, creating a string of islands and lagoons that are all submerged during the wet season.
